This calendar of learning assistance related national conferences, workshops, and institutes is a regular feature and will be updated at least every quarter. In addition to dates, events, and location, available contacts for more information, either through telephone, email, web site, fax, or postal mail, will be posted with each announcement. If you know of an event that is not on the calendar but might be useful for learning assistance professionals to consider attending, please send to frank.christ@lsche.net and follow the four line event information: Date, Conference /Event Title, Location, and Contact. Note that you can attend some conferences either free or at a minimum fee for the exhibits only. If such an event is near you, consider attending just to walk the exhibit floor and talk to publisher reps and vendors. Look for the "Note" at the end of the event indicating this information.
